The physical structure of ACTOY is first and foremost conditional on the fact that we are set up in former farm buildings, now holding both living quarters, the ACTOY firm and the Art Gallery ‘Galleri 18’. It can seem rather cramped when we are busy; but the most important point is, that this is a good place to live and work.
The store-room:
We have a lot of articles in stock, here as well as in an external warehouse, and our goal is to be able to deliver any ordered goods within a few days. We know the expected demands, and usually produce the required amount of goods well in advance in order to avoid bottlenecks and unnecessary delays.
The workshop:
The workshop is a room filled with creativity in terms of developing proto-types as well as the actual production- and assembly-line. In this room a great many processes must take place at full speed. The equipment is first and foremost meant for welding-jobs and is in tip-top order. The workshop also holds a number of machines for metal-processing besides saw, lathe, grinding machines, frilling machines and plenty more.
The office:
“The head office” is the primary work unit within the firm. All the planning, book-keeping, design drafting and especially phone-calls and contacts with customers take place here.
